Alarm System
The house has a standard alarm system that features window, door, motion, fire, and glass-break sensors. Remote monitoring is optional.

Camera System
The camera system has 7 different views of the grounds around the house. The central unit allows for up to 9 cameras. Camera types are a combination of "light concentrating" and infrared for nighttime observation. The camera grid can be viewed on any TV in the house—it's just a button press away.

Severe Weather/Other
A 4-foot crawlspace serves as severe-weather safe area and includes phone, lights, and electricity. Additional security features will only be disclosed to new owner.

Stereo
Most folks (including me) usually do not define "nice livingroom" as loaded up with stereo equipment. Thus, the office (third bedroom) was wired as the location that could drive multiple additional areas with "whole house" stereo:
In the office, the built-in storage areas in the Murphy bed unit for CDs and records complete the setup. Also, a shielded cable system runs from the desk area to the stereo area to facilitates streaming internet audio throughout the house.

Ethernet
An ethernet nexus in the guest bedroom can drive ethernet drops in three additional rooms ...
- office (third bedroom)
- master bedroom
- dining room (because, well, you just never know)

Phone
Phone drops are practically everywhere, for ease of use and aesthetics of phone locations:
- livingroom (2)
- kitchen (1)
- master bedroom (2)
- guest bedroom (2)
- office (1)
- garage (1)
- shed (1)
- crawlspace (1)

Satellite TV
The house already has a DishNetwork satellite dish on it, and the wiring needed to set up a four-TV system is in place. Based on the current wiring, possible TV locations are:
- livingroom
- kitchen
- guest bedroom
- office
- master bedroom
It's worth noting that the likely locations for the satellite company's boxes also have phone outlets, meaning that their program-guide updates will be free.
